‘Why Aesthetic is Important’ – Part 2 “An Op-ed by Dr Migraine”

The second most common aesthetic drug taken in facial aesthetic surgeries was found to be Dermal Fillers.

The common perception was that everyone wanted to look like they had contoured, puffed cheeks, large lips, and high, piercing brows. However, there are plenty who recommend a subtle enhancement to maintain attractive, palatable facial volumes. Conversely, many have gone for the extreme augmentation that will ruin the proportions of the face and will automatically bring the eyes to the treated areas. Having this says the rest of the face and the areas that are not treated will look under-volumised, which in reality may not be, and therefore the look is one of hyper-emphasis. An imbalance of volume will disturb the natural proportions of the face and can trigger an incorrect perception.

Also, in regard to filler lips, it is generally accepted that lower lips must be slightly larger than the upper lips in order to communicate natural beauty. Some may prefer to contour their lips only to contour them, while others would like a larger lip like the “air in your tires” of having full lips. Also, when facial enhancement is done on younger patients, this can give a heavier older appearance, with over-contouring turning the young heart triangle into an ageing squared or rectangular shape.

The filler business is also booming for the enhancement of sultry lips, full cheeks, and an elevated jawline, which is, in the end, considered sculpting. Filler goes through an explosive growth mode, and everyone wants to blot out and enlarge, while Botox creates a more youthful, attractive, and harmonious look on the face. Also, girls like lip filler that may provide various forms, including volume. After all, lips are meant to be sensual things on your face and are considered a beautiful attraction to any beautiful complexion.

All advertised to be loved faces and different looks that can be made from them, to have the must-have lists, the tempting do-it-yourself, and the irresistible. Everyone wants to take care of themselves, look nice, and be accepted by everybody. Men are now becoming more competitive with women for beautiful jobs, which is a vigorously emerging phenomenon. However, we need to take care when talking about men’s faces since they are different from women’s.

Men’s faces are long and have more pronounced corners. Their foreheads are, for example, flat, tilted, and with pronounced supra-orbital ridges, while their eyeballs are straight, unshaped, thick, and either low or just below the supra-orbital ridge. Their actual eyes are often smaller or smaller, less oval and more rectangular, and appear deep because of their lower eyeballs and supra-orbital ridge. Male eyebrows are low-set and straight, with no defined shape or curved lines. Men’s noses are angular, more prominent, longer, and thicker, with more defined edges than women’s. Their nasal roots are narrower, and the angle between the nose and the labial is at right angles……..
